The story follows Sam, Astrid, Edilio, Quinn, Diana, Caine, Lana and Albert and how they fight to survive this bubble they call now The FAYZ.

Lena Holoway is waiting as everybody to reach the 18 years old to be part of the process, get a job a person who will live with her and the love must be eliminated from his brain, but the live is unpredictable and Lena will find it soon.

Nothing is book published for first time in Denmark in the year 2000, the book created a lot of noise in countries like France, German and Norway because a lot of teachers asked to their students to buy the book as an obligatory lecture, but the parents of the students weren't agree with it because of the context of the book. This behavior make that the book got fame and in other countries the people start to buy it, the popularity of the book grew. The book is about a person named Pier who find that nothing it's important, then nothing deserve his attention. Pier said it in front of his classmates and then he took the decision to climb a tree and stay in it for a long period. Every time his classmates go near the tree he shout them that everything they made didn't have a meaning and they must stop to do it, as a reaction his classmates took the decision to show him that he is wrong and the classmates start to collect the things that are important for them and they put all of them together creating a mountain that they called the mountain of meaning.

My opinion, It is a book with a great message and it deserve to be read not only one time. I really enjoyed to read it, it make me think about the importance of the things I make every day. For me it is impressive how a small book can give a strong message. It gave me a lesson for my live.

An Abundance of Katherines

The book is about Kolin a prodigy boy who all the time has the pressure of his parents because they remember him that he has a great brain and he must take advantage of it. even though he is a prodigy boy he is not a genius, to be a genius he must had invented something.
Other curious thing it is that Kolin only has girlfriends with the name of Katherine and everyone left him after some time. In one occasion when one of his girlfriend the number19 broke him, he felt into a high depression until one of his friend take him to a retirement where the live of Kolin suffered a change. In the retirement Kolin had the great idea of create a formula to discover how a relationship can works. The creation of the formula also make him a genius.

My opinion, This is my first book written by John Gene and it looks for my very innovating, the way he mix the science with the literature and the way he wrote make me easy to read, but I feel he fail to give a better structure to the story.

With each full moon comes a murder and the only one that seems to notice is a disabled boy named Marty whose best friend was murdered by the beast that is hunting the small town.
Due to the canceled four of July fireworks Marty's uncle gave him as a present a box of firecrackers, so that night he decided to try them out, so he snuck out of the house and lit a few of them, Marty didn't know he was being watched.
The beast attacked him but Marty was quick enough to pull out a firecracker and lit it up to defend himself. It worked out perfectly since he hit it in the left eye wounding it severely.
Thanks to this a few months later, on Halloween's night, Marty finds out who the beast is.

Its is a very different adventure from the ones we use to read.

The prologue of the story was different from the typical, it starts out of the principal plot, but at the same time it gave us a clear idea of what will be the story of the trilogy.
Between many kingdoms we will find the Lothaire kingdom where the fairies live with her queen Mab which is a evil women, but she is not the evil person we use to find in this kind of stories, it makes more interesting the stories.
Cuentos de Luna llena is our of the common story about fairies the way the book was written make us to return to the real live and see that we can not fit the things with a magic wand. Every chapter has a different character, first we find Drake who is a troubadour that arrives to the Lothaire kingdom from his land Astrea, he arrives with a mysterious mission to be accomplish.
Lady Eirenne is a very different princess from the others, she likes to use different clothes, she practice the archery and she doesn't follow the royal protocol like the others princess, in fact her cousin Fay de Veridan has a complete different behavior she got compromised to get married with someone she doesn't know just to sustain the peace between the kingdoms.

After an exciting night he spent with Margo, she run away and Quentin discovers she has left clues. With the help of his two best friends Ben and Radar and Lacey, the best friend of Margo, Quentin analyze each and every clue with the idea that Margo wanted him to find where she is.  Meanwhile the searching is going on, Quentin realize that the Margo he used to know, is not the same.

Finally Quentin decided to make a road trip to find Margo, and here is when he realize that the clues that  Margo has left for him, were for him to find himself  and  to do things he have never done.

Here is when I realize that what matters is to know yourself before knowing someone and for living life. Also that the Paper town and paper people are what we want to see and expect of them, like Quentin with Margo and Ben with Lacey, we create an image of people in our mind and we cling to it.  That’s why we all need to stop having the blindfold and see who is around us.

The Shadowhunter’s Codex

The Shadowhunter’s Codex is a fictional manual derived from the Mortal Instruments book series. The Codex is supposed to be the book every shadowhunter child gets when he or she starts training to become a warrior. The book is Clary Fray’s copy, which is full of drawings and notes made by Jace, Simon her best friend and herself. The book teaches about the different things you should know to become a shadowhunter, such as demonology, beistiarie and runes to mark yourself in order to be better protected. It also includes the basic Nephilim history of how they came to be with the Angel Raziel and Jonathan Shadowhunter. 

Even though the book is fiction it is written in a way that you could even consider becoming a shadowhunter or start training yourself to be one. It looks like really hard work from learning all the runes to languages, attacks blades and ways to kill certain types of demons. It is a book to pass the time and if you already like or have read either “the mortal Instruments” of “The Infernal Devices” it helps clear the view of some of the things it includes through out both the series and the trilogy.

Clary Fray is a sixteen almost seventeen-year-old girl who lives in Brooklyn with her mother. She goes to school as any normal teenager but when she starts seeing a mysterious guy who no one seems to be able to see, she discovers she is not a normal human. After comforting the boy he tells her he is a Shadowhunter a half-angel half-human spices created to protect the Earth from demons. While Clary is with Jace, the shadowhunter boy, her mother gets kidnapped by a group of demons, making Clary’s mission to rescue her mother.

As she starts discovering the new world she’s now able to see, she finds out things about her family and why she is a shadowhunter. Turns out both her mom and dad are shadowhunters and her dad is very much alive and also is the most wanted man in the Nephilim world. What she does have is a deceased brother.  During her stay she starts developing feelings for Jace and making new friends and allies through the downworlder (werewolves, vampires, warlocks and faeries) where she discovers her mother has been erasing her memory through the years. When Jace disappears, she manages to save her mom with the help of one of her mother’s friends who turned out to be a werewolf.  She also finds Jace in the same place claiming to have found his long dead father alive. When he introduces her to his father she realizes that the man who Jace calls father is her real father Valentine.

Seriously I’m Kidding

Seriously I’m Kidding is a humor book written by comedian Ellen DeGeneres in which she talks about everything and nothing with the purpose of entertaining and giving you some useful as well as useless facts. Throughout the entire book she jokes around about things she has done in her life such as being in “juvie”, dating famous people she hasn’t dated or even her years as a prisoner of disco. Some of the chapters include slightly serious things but mainly jokes such as how to be a supermodel in which you have to squint, trot like a horse and even pretend to be angry at the universe.

The book is an easy read since you do not have to follow a sequence of events you can read the book in the order you like, maybe even skip some chapters, which I don’t recommend since all of them are good. There are many references to her show, but it is not the same to watch Ellen than to read Ellen. You will find yourself laughing while reading and having a good time with book intended to make you feel good.

Both of them embark on a journey full of magic and history of both their families to try to stop Lena from going Dark.
